Big Data Mechanisms Overview
Technology mechanisms represent well-defined IT artifacts that are established within an IT industry. The technology-centric nature of BDSCP Module 2: Big Data Technology Concepts, Module 8: Advanced Big Data Engineering, Module 10 Fundamental Big Data Architecture and Module 11: Advanced Big Data Architecture requires the establishment of a formal level of mechanisms to be able to explore the moving parts that comprise Big Data solution platforms and, in the case of Modules 10 and 11, how a given pattern can be applied via combinations of mechanism implementations. Mechanisms help standardize proven practices and solutions in a design pattern format and further add standardization to pattern application options. Mechanisms related to a given pattern are listed in each pattern profile table.
